This explains it. The easiest way to cancel your data would be through the bell website. Log into your bell account and click add/remove plan features and just remove your data. They charge a flat $200 cancellation fee. I renewed again this week for 3 years, got a note 2 for $199 then cancelled my data ( $250) So basically I paid $450 for a brand new note 2, cheaper than buying it straight up As for as I know UMB isnt offered anymore, the only people that still have it are people who signed up years and years ago and got grandfathered it like me and T.T |
were you still on the enbridge plan? I have the same plan with mobile browsing. were did you do the upgrade? My original dealer originated from like Alberta |

edit: Yes I am still on enbridge, theres no way I am giving up voice/text and unlimited data for $20 a month, LTE or no LTE |
thanks. got your PM. My girlfriend wants an Iphone 5... |
bumping a dead as hell thread. I think all you guys (myself included) got it from the RFD thread from that guy in Alberta (sent it to me) I'm still paying the $50/month. If i'm reading this right, sign onto bell's website and take off the data plan. I'd be paying $20 + tax/month and still getting umb? I'm checking my APN and it's still pda.bell.ca y/n? what do? |

my 3yr contract expires in sept and i'm planning on removing my 6gb data then. not going to bother renewing since most the freebies on the embridge plan are built-in and not term related, meaning you don't have to renew to keep them (other than to get a discount on the phone) |
My contract ended a week ago and I tried renewing in a bell store but no luck because they asked for proof of employment. So I just went home and did it through the bell website. Quick and painless. Renewed it on a Wednesday evening received my SGS4 on Friday. No data subsidy because the plan is only $20 so I ended up paying $450 after tax for the phone. So those of you planning on renewing I would suggest doing it through the bell website. Posted via RS Mobile |
T.T. thats pretty good. I was just checking online myself they were offering me a voice only commitment credit of $270 which is not bad at all. But did they waive the $35 HUP fee for you? Also, have you noticed any additional charges or changes to your plan since getting the new phone? |
