Just bought the nike chip for the iphone that keeps track of your run. First run in years, a brutal 2.16 miles...

This thing is gonna motivate me to run on my non lifting days. May try sun run if I keep this up. Great purchase for any one looking for motivation.

im trying to figure out how to calibrate it.. how do you do it?

all i did was take it out of the box and onto my shoe. i just google mapped what I ran, and it was very accurate to the mileage the sensor recorded

If its already accurate for u than no need.

To calibrate u plug in the usb, reset to factory settings, then do a run over 200 m you know the exact distance of.

Then you plug in usb again and identify the actual length of the run. You should do it for running and walking seperately.

Just signed up because my company reimburses me. Not in the greatest shape for this, aiming for one hour. Any advice for training/dieting? I'm going to start by doing some interval training on the treadmill. THanks

My buddy has the watch too, and he told me to calibrate it the same way you did. The thing with iphone, we don't use a usb stick. So I'm guessing the iphone doesn't need to calibrate since it uses the gps like google maps?

Just found out I got sun run day off, gonna be my first attempt since 2002 woot

hey dudes, first time doing the sun run, i went on the website and it said the package pick up was around bc place. i went there today and drove around expo then down pacific, and didnt really see much. can someone plot out on google maps where exactly it is?
i went last yr with my gf to get her package, and i remember it being kind of near science world, but yesterday when i went all i saw was a shitload of canucks parking, and the medic tent for the actual sun run that didnt seem to have any people around it.
is it in a new location? someone plot it out on a map for me?
