External hard drive recommendations?

Hi guys,

It has been awhile since I last purchased a hard drive so I need some opinion and advices on the following external hard drives. I am currently trying to find something that is smaller yet stylish as I will be taking it to work and etc. As for space, I am looking for 1 TB+ and at least USB 3.0.

I have been lurking around and found positive reviews of the following two:

Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 1TB USB 3.0/USB 2.0 Black Portable Hard Drive WDBACX0010BBK-NESN
(Newegg.ca - Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 1TB USB 3.0/USB 2.0 Black Portable Hard Drive WDBACX0010BBK-NESN)

Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1.5TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive STAA1500100
(Newegg.ca - Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1.5TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive STAA1500100)

Any other models that you recommend otherwise?

Thanks for the help,
Ian

Wow.. I bought my 3TB WD My Book for that price...

its a good drive... it supposts USB3.0 for future needs... but i notice the power button on the back of that drive doesnt work... freaking thing... but its ok... i only plug it in if i download new games..

I just use to to store my Xbox games.. only 1TB left... should have bought 2...

my parents have a 1TB elements.. they bought it 6months ago to watch movie off with the Asus O!play.. once and awhile its coming up with errors when i plug it into the computer.. its annoying, i have to reformat it so it would stop coming up with errors.. when i do a scan, it wont finish...

Thanks for the offer and suggestions. I managed to score a used one off a friend so that takes care of the issues.
