FS: Sony STR-DG710 6.1 Channel HDMI Receiver
As title states:
Sony STR-DG710 6.1 Channel Receiver.
Bought this originally from the sony store down in the states for 350 dollars + washington sales tax
Great beginner/basic receiver, takes 2 HDMI inputs, 2 Composite and 2 Component. It also lets you route and pair any video port to any audio port.
It is extremely hard nowadays to find a basic beginner's receiver with dual-zone front speaker placement, as well as 6.1 channels (a quick look at visions.ca shows that most in this price-range are only 5.1 or even 2.1)
Supports decoding of Dolby ProLogic II 6.1 Channels, as well as DTS 6.1
The only downside is that it does NOT support uncompressed/lossless surround signals (max support is PCM 2 Channel) Selling for $150 OBO.
Comes with Remote, Receiver, Auto calibration mic.
I lost the manual while renovating the media room... though the entire thing is available on sony's website
If you know me personally you will know that I take extreme care of my electronics and try my best to keep them in new condition. The receiver still has the original "features" label attached
