fucking ppl need to stop walking around in the middle of the row when dancing. ppl walking by and bumping you really kills your dancing flow. |
I was impressed by all 3 acts especially cazette =) |
VCC is a terrible venue. |
line up was RETARDED people were retarded drink system sucked (I understand the profitability though) dance floor was annoying music was great. |
Quite sad I missed most of R3hab's set due to long ass line ups. Cazzette did a great job and I thought Avicii played really well. I swear I went through 6 line ups that night though. ID Line, e-ticket line was alright, pat down line, washroom line, drinks line, and coat check line at the end was ridiculous. I was waiting for an hour. I did however hear about a girl getting punched in the face. Girl that got punched, and her friend came up to a guy right beside me who was her boyfriend and told him she got punched in the face and he got all riled up trying to find the guy. |
LOL I saw a little cat fight just along the e-ticket line. Some short blondie throwing scratches over the fence at some other broad. lulz were had |
First VCC event I went to was Armin way back and I thought they might have got their shit together after that event, guess I was wrong. |
avicii set was OK nothing special. |
Small venues > big venues! |
Sucked how only VIP area got seats. From time to time I got kinda tired LOL just sat down on le ground. I thought Avicii was pretty good tho =) |
Summary - line up to get in was crazy. they need a more efficient way. luckily I got in just before the rush so we only waited about 15mins. - coat check at the end of the night was stupid. We waited about 30mins and that was only because one of the girls cousins were at the front of the line. It would have taken well over an hour if we actually waited in line. - i really liked the venue, it was just the right size in my opinion. The washroom line up was weird. The guys washroom had about 15min wait and the girls washroom was completely empty? odd --the venue size was great. Having a concert too big sometimes isn't the greatest - The sound was ok. I wish it was a little louder only because towards the back and sides of the stage you couldn't really get the full experience. They only had speakers in the front I believe which was really dumb. They should have put speakers in the back and sides as well. - water was $4 and they didn't even give you a lid for it.. kind of annoying. probably spent about $40 on water... - And why would anyone leave the main area during LEVELS? it's so effing annoying. We're jamming out and people are trying to make their way out? daaaaaaaaa fcukkkk - The best part was probably seeing so many people. I saw people I haven't seen in years. From highschool to work to random people i've met along the way. And everyone was so damn happy --oh and the amount of white girls there =DDDDDDDDDDDDD haha, that was a nice surprise. ---too many tall white guys though, haha. For an asian who is 5'8" it's difficult if one of these guys are in front of you. But, i'm not complaining it was a wicked night. ------------------------ So this was my first event. And it was simply amazing. I swear, if you havent' been to one of these before the energy in the room was amazing. for my first time, it was insane! HOWEVER, did anyone else think Avicii wasn't that good? Don't get me wrong, I had a great time, but I didn't think he wasn't as good as he could have been. I felt his timing was off on a lot of songs and his "show" presence wasn't there (maybe that was due to the venue's equipment?) What really got to me was the way he dropped Levels. Which is by far one of his biggest songs.. And he dropped it so casually. I've heard it dropped way better at caprice with their house dj... Can anyone who has been to his other shows comment on the quality of this one? And I wish Avicii played the whole night. R3hab wasn't that good imo, but cazzette was pretty good. The night ended way too young.. I would love to go to Tiesto NYE, but I can't really justify spending $150 for a ticket.. oh well. |
Agreed in the beginning of the night they were still giving water with the lids. Afterwards they they took off the lids for "safety reasons" :fulloffuck: |
the washrooms inside for men were shared on both sides thats why it was fucking long. and fucking roidheads kept budging or skip the line up all together to go in. |

For me and friends at least, we would only drink a little bit of the water. maybe half on certain instances and then we would have to hold the bottle and plug it with our thumb... which led us to drink more water unnecessarily. And then buy more water when we were thirsty and then do the exact same thing. Instead of putting the water in the guys back pocket like we usually do, we couldn`t. And it was such a pain in the ass to hold the water while dancing.. Oh well, next time i`ll know to hide my gum (because they took it away) and bring in some lids haha. it was still wicked! |
