Whistler EDGE Card - Nov 21, 2011 = TODAY IS THE LAST DAY for Early Bird Price @ $73

Hey guys,

Early bird is still up and running. So YMMV when they'll stop it. It was supposed to end Nov 21, 2011

If you only go up to Whistler once this season this is worth it.
So you might as well buy it.

The more days you buy the cheaper it is.

1 Day = $73
3 Day = $73/day
5 Day = $67.80/day
10 Day = $61.90/day

Regular price;
1 Day = $96 for an adult (not sure if it's +tax or not? If it is, $107.52 )

You can also buy additional days at discounted prices
ie. you just buy the one day pass and you end up going up again.
The discount pricing is as follows;
$70 from now - Dec 16, 2011
$79 from Dec 17-April 22, 2012
$53 from April 23 - May 21, 2012

So it's a good deal.

Whistler Blackcomb - Edge Cards - Entry

How do u buy just one day?
I searched earlier, but I can find only 2days or more

^You can select 1 day when you're going through the checkout process

davy 11-21-2011 08:08 PM

EDIT: Nm, works now.

PiuYi 11-21-2011 08:32 PM

all the ads say $62/day but its $73?

edit: also having trouble with their site... alot of ppl buying last minute i guess haha

twitchyzero 11-21-2011 08:33 PM

62 if you get 10 days
i got fooled by the marketing every year lol

PiuYi 11-21-2011 08:44 PM

saucywoman 11-21-2011 09:42 PM

TOS'd 11-21-2011 09:48 PM

site taking too long, errors left and right. :(

Alatar 11-21-2011 10:03 PM

I don't think I'll do Whistler this season. More likely to do Baker instead.

I want to hit whistler at least once, which is why I did the card for this mountain too

you'd better be taking me to baker with you mister!!!!!!!! lol

Simplex123 11-22-2011 08:36 AM

Fuck yaaaa I'm still 18 till February
The early bird prices are still on the site so I only pay $59 for 1 Day

I've never bought it an EDGE card before, just wondering if it's registered to one person or can multiple people use one card when paying??

saucywoman 11-22-2011 09:57 AM

Only one person. It's like a seasons pass where they take your picture. The only exception is you have to pay for each time you go after the first time, but it's at a discounted rate

Besides the Edge Card, does anywhere else sell the Whistler daily passes for cheaper? TIA

!YaoShi 11-22-2011 12:11 PM

^I know 7-11's sell lift tickets for cheaper after December. But I'm not too sure how much they will be this year. Definitely cheaper than buying at the door though.

BaBiE_Bee 11-22-2011 12:15 PM

Ok cool thanks!

death_blossom 11-22-2011 01:42 PM

I just bought the passes at the early bird prices! the early bird pricing is still good for those who missed out yesterday's deadline.

Whistler Blackcomb - Edge Cards - Entry

3 Day = $73/day

Why would you get a 3day prepaid edge card @ 73$/Day when you can get a 1day prepaid edge card @ 73$/Day and any recurring lift pass @ 70$???

am I retarded?

death_blossom 11-23-2011 12:57 PM

from the sounds of it, I think you can only get that $70 lift ticket after you've used your first one already. the $70 price is only good until dec.16 so you'll need to use your first ticket then head up the mountain again before the 16th.

You're right.
Unless you plan on going during Dec 17-April 22, 2012, which is $79.
So it just depends on when you're going. Chances are, you won't be up at whistler three times before Dec 17. But, it depends on the person.
