Hmmm, I have a friend that works at one of these places but he's not in the computer department, does anyone know if he's still eligible to sign-up for this program? SkinnyPupp, I probably won't need a processor of the i7 2700k's calibre, if my friend is able to buy one of the packages for me we can work something out if you don't have any other options yet. |

But your friend has to create an account, then has to spend a couple hours taking some quizes and accimilating 10,000 pts before they're able to buy it. There's $30 shipping on top of the price too. |
Should've read it more clearly about verifying. I thought it expired after 90 days, but you just have to verify again after 90 days. Just sent my verification. 1 per category means 1 CPU + MOBO and 1 CPU? If it is then I'll be willing to help an RS Member out. |

My one use is already used up, sorry guys. If my friend backs out or if anyone else in the department wants to sell their set I will post up. |

Just finished the quizes and got verified today lol |
Im currently running on a E6600, 8800GTS 320mb, 8GB DDR2 800 ram and 60gb OCZ SSD. Is it worth getting this mobo and CPU deal and re using my Antec w/e PSU and buying some DDR3 ram and video card? I'm guessing itll be like 250~ + 250$ video card and 100$ on ram to get this up to date? I'll be re-using my P180 case. Mainly used for Adobe Premier Pro and BF3. Sorry for the offtopic but I thought it'd be better to ask here than to open up a new thread. |
My friend who isn't in computers but digital imaging at BB got denied :/ |

Just completed my 10000 chips and sent in my paystub. Hopefully I'll be able to grab it tomorrow when I'm verified. Skinnypup: Is it worth buying the mobo bundle alongside? Any ram/videocard suggestions? Hopefully my PSU will be able to handle it. HG: Did he send in a paystub or do the email thing? Dont think theyll be calling BB to confirm if he works in the computer section or not. Seems weird. |
No, I would get a different motherboard. I like Gigabyte boards for Intel, and Z68 is the chipset you want. I am reviewing the Z68XP-UD4 and so far it is pretty fucken awesome. For video cards, depends on your budget. I would probably go with a GeForce 560. As for drivers Nvidia > ATI. It took over a week for ATI to release a driver that allowed SLI in Skyrim for instance, and it still runs better on Nvidia cards. If you have an ATI card, you can expect to have to wait 1-2 weeks to be able to play the latest games at full quality and performance. |
Damn! If anyone has a spare package 2, hook it up! please :) |
I finished acquiring 10,000 chips to find out that my friend threw out all his paystubs. If anyone is selling theirs, let me know. Thanks |

Just a heads up that the package is officially live. Going to try and complete the AMD one too to get the 6950 for 199. |
Just put the order through for just the CPU. Going to take SkinnyPupps advice and get a Z68 mobo |
Ordered the 2700k and just finished all the quizzes for the AMD RetailPro. Going to buy the: "Ruby's Special Agent Deal! One great price for U.S. and Canada - $199 {USD}! Just for you Aggressive Gamers! AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Black Edition Processor AMD Radeon™ HD 6950 2GB Graphics" Does anybody want the Phenom? I just want the 6950. |
