Accident on Canada way and Beta (BCIT)
 
Just drove past the accident. Avoid this area if you can. There are tons of cops around here too due to the accident.

Guy from the car seemed okay. He was walking about but I can't say the same for his car. Front is completely smashed and is most likely a writeoff. No sign of another car when I looked around so I'm not even too sure what he hit/what hid him.

They make it so the car crumples as much as it can to reduce the amount of crumpling for the driver and passengers :troll:

that's a good thing.. the last thing you want is the hood sliding instead of crushing, then boom off comes your head.

crumple zones man!! absorbs impact force!

Also writes your car off when you bump the rear of a 4runner going maybe 20km/h when said 4runner's bumper gets pushed in 1-2cm and driver of said 4runner barely felt anything.
