AVOID Mac Shack. Bland. |
The best mac and cheese hands down is at the Onyx steak house. Truffle and lobster mac and cheese and wow its beyond amazing!!!! Posted via RS Mobile |
I've had the Lobster Mac n Cheese from Rougue Kitchen and Wet Bar before, and it was actually quite tasty. And yea, Mac Shack is kinda bland, the sandwich was good though!! |
Sandwiches being better than their staple dish? :fuckthatshit: |
Burgoo on Main and 15th Mac and More, their french onion soup is good too |
Best mac and cheese I've tried was at 100 Days Restaurant in Yaletown. Sadly, they were only there for 100 days. It was a lobster and Dungeness crab mac and cheese with a small cup of lobster/crab bisque that you pour on top. So good... Posted via RS Mobile |
I wish I saw this thread before I made the mistake of going to Mac Shack ... lol what a mistake ... bland as hell and way overpriced!... I had the "recommended" Lobster Mac ... which came out to over $20 after taxes... took me a good minute or 2 to dig out any semblance of lobster ... I was rewarded with a SLIVER of meat ... and the rest of the mac was bland and dry ... 4 waitresses working at the time, they literally never moved more than 2 feet from where they stood during my entire meal there. Only 2 other tables in the store. Epic fail. The Mac and Cheese at Burgoo is way better. |
Au Petite Chavignol on Hastings has a pretty good mac and cheese. Home-Au Petit Chavignol Four Cheese Macaroni 9 Gruyere, white cheddar, orange cheddar stilton Add double smoked bacon +3 -this is a must lol. |

Love the burgoo mac and cheese but not a fan of their onion soup, the soup is too beefy? I don't know it's just off IMO I still have a coupon from being a twitter follower of mac shack so I'll probably try the original mac and cheese or smth |
