there were a couple of the usual lowrider civics and riced up grocery getters sporting air suspensions and folding hood and trunks but you cant really get away from that especially in a city filled with latin americans. Its like a staple modification for them. but yea, most are going for either the clean look or the uber widebody. They are also more into great paintjobs and graphic arts as oppose to here that butchers matte vinyls.
