hi, i tried to upload a gif image for my avatar recently but it says not allowed
i do see some members with animated avatars though so wuts the dealio?

i have the same problem. i always assumed it was a perk of having a custom avatar, but your avatar seems custom size so i have no idea what's required.

It depends on the KB size and image dimensions.
If you go over the limit, it'll say "it's not allowed"
If the .gif is like 4 seconds, it should work. Any longer than that, it won't. Correct me if I'm wrong  | |

I've been wondering about this as well, I tried making the gif below my avatar and was given a message that animated avatars are not permitted, it didn't say anything about size.  | |
