i remember the article about that dude was in my grade 12 shortstory book. Was so weird doing a paragraph about that dude and his unstable mental heath. I will remember the women.

Still remember Virginia Tech from a couple of years ago.

OTG-ZR2 12-06-2011 07:47 PM

RIP.

They gave away white roses at BCIT on the anniversary of the massacre.

^ I remember they did that at Kwantlen and SFU as well.

At Kwantlen they have a little memorial with candles, etc...they always have a little ceremony today.

Not sure about SFU.

Sad day to remember

Bouncing Bettys 12-08-2011 06:01 PM

I was 8 but I remember it being a sad event. Later I remember my dad wasn't looking forward to stricter gun laws he knew would come especially since the gunman used the same mini-14 he has.

There is a decent film on the event called Polytechnique which came out a few years ago. Its filmed in black and white from various perspectives. Its a similar style to the film Elephant, a fictional tale of a HS shooting.

EDIT: here's the trailer for the film

dinosaur 12-08-2011 06:32 PM

Wow...that trailer is gut-wrenching. Not sure I could sit through the film.

That Moby song always makes me sad for some reason. Good choice.

Thanks for posting :)

MelonBoy 12-08-2011 08:50 PM

Today at Virginia Tech there was a shooting.. last time I checked 2 people was found killed and the gunner was still on the brawl.
