No more Dom Rebel/Dirty Bastard for me. It was okay a couple years ago back in the day when I was 14 :twirleye:
LOL I remember there was an online Dom Rebel sample sale last year where a collection of shirts were ~$30 a piece, and I bought 3 and sold them to a bunch of LBs for $80 each :joy: I should've bought more
Just gonna shop @ H&M now ... so much cheaper, and I find they fit more comfortably too :tears:

Verdasco 03-19-2012 11:01 AM

Word.i feel like i don't care that much About brands anymore when I am getting older. Just getting plain no design shirts lol

I stopped wearing my True Religions and sold off my collection. More and more highschool kids wearing them nowadays, premium denim isn't so "premium" anymore if you know what I'm saying. Older/vintage pairs look a lot better than the ones being released (Studs, crystals, retarded new stitching styles? Come on... )

True Religion store opening at Metrotown soon... From the way I see where TR is going, I wouldn't be surprised if it closes down in a year.

If you noticed, a lot of kids in high school wearing TR's are fake ones lol. I can't believe how many ppl are wearing fakes out there.

blee123 03-31-2012 12:04 AM

theres this persian chick that works at richmond boys co at night and is always on her phone bbming everytime i pass by there and the store is always dead :lawl:

what happend to all those mid 20s-30s douche bag and nammer daddies that used to shop there?

Boys co has turned its image to selling lower end stuff now (jack &jones, selected homme, alternative) compared to back then when they carried Moschino, Versace italy, jean paul damage etc

lundyt 04-02-2012 09:04 AM

Jack & Jones has nice jackets for around $80, well worth it imo

This.

Blank tshirts from H&M and white tees from Kirkland...all I need!

ethano 04-02-2012 07:44 PM

LV is classic but it's getting too played out (too many fakes out there too), people won't think you're rich or classy if you wear it. Not exclusive anymore..sadly.

Unless it's one of their more subtle plain leather designs or runway collections

What is considered "out" has become the "in".
Looking at the fashion world, the trend of late is very much based on a very 1920's style this past winter. Bright colours of spring reflect very much of what was in style in the 1960s a bit of a hippie style.

I will say that if you are creative enough you can renew what was old and bring in the old. That's pretty much what designers do. Change things up a bit and its a trend.
