What is M.C.M investigative team? What are they supposed to do exactly? We had a few at our house asking questions about the neighbour and some crackheads that always come over.

I figured that much... the question is... why are they snooping around my house in plain clothes. They're looking for 2 17yr-olds. Curious to what they could have done thats so bad.

They weren't "snooping around in plain clothes". That is their "uniform". And likely doing neighbourhood enquiries to gather information about a file they are working on.

Why don't you ask the cops? We don't know who your neighbors are, so we don't know what they might have done. Some 17 year olds can be real assholes.
