Honda and Acura are shit now. They are idiots for thinking that people that buy a luxury vehicle care about mpg. That's what the civic and accord are for. From about 1994-2002 honda was cool, I've had a few and most of my friends and family had them also back then. Now if I look at a honda or acura (minus the mdx and tsx) its just an econobox piece of shit. Hell the new civics are the shittiest ugliest pos on the road. Rmb the 99 civic sir? Those were dope. Even the base model coupes were cool. Obviosuly they have to have their fits and small "nerd" cars but they need to step up their game. I rmb the good ol days of preludes, integras, nsx, S2000. The last car I would buy right now is a honda. I'd rather have a kia forte than the new civic! Can"t believe its come to that. A kia!

Ah many of my friends and family drive luxury vehicles, and many of them care about mpg.

What do they drive. Saying they care is different than actually owning a car that actually has good mpg. Bottom line is most people that want luxury also want power - we may complain its horrible on gas etc but still going to pick the bmw mercedes infiniti because of the power. Acura has already done what they are saying they are doing in the future. Its a luxury vehicle with low power and good mpg. And they are failing - they need to open their eyes up. If they can make a car with good fuel economy and lots of power then do it. But they won't. Watch

Oh I agree with your statement. I think acura is just going to go further downhill from here. It is just that I know some people who buy luxury vehicles with mpg as one of their main priorities.

As for my friends and family? E350/550, m3s, g37s, is/es/gs lexus, etc. Though from what I remember the ones that cared the most about mpgs went with a lexus.
