its due to the nature that there are 16 players..32 goalies will be drafted
Yes its all strategy on how to draft goalies, but lets try it without save% this year.

I'm probably not the best guy to answer this so someone with experience please elaborate, but since this is the first year of the keeper pool right so were all starting new so I thought it would just be a normal draft?, so I'm just confused as to what you would even be assigning and determining? unless you mean only specific players can qualify to be a keeper and etc ..

is that what you are referring to? because I think that only kicks in for us next year because like I said its going to be our first year no one should be a keeper at the moment as we have yet to even draft so how could any teams have keepers right lol, and I'm not sure if this was asked but how many players are we going to be keeping onto next season? any restrictions and etc? like max 1 goalie and etc

Yea, thats correct, you only have to worry about keeper status next year, since this year 1 you don't have to worry about it prior to draft.

jeebus, looks like 3rd string goalies and the likes of Andrew Alberts will be drafted then lol

so now all we need to know is how many players we can keep for the year after I would say 1 restriction is you can only keep 1 goalie so next season you got a shot at a goalie if you missed out this year lol or I can see everyone hoarding their goalies forever.

Most keeper pools usually allow for keeping more players than that, other wise doesn't really seem like a keeper pool. Most keeper pools I've seen are usually only 10 to 12 teams tho. At 18 teams, maybe reduce starting goalie spot to 1 and set minimum games for goalies to 1 or 0 then?

I think you got to allow for more players to be kept as that is the whole point of a keeper pool, acting as the GM. On the settings you have now, each roster has 15 skaters and 2 goalies, doesn't really make sense that you're only allowed to keep 3 players. I would suggest you're allowed to keep at least 6 skaters and 1 goalie.

in the keeper pools i'm in, you're allowed to keep x # of skaters, not defined by position. So its up to you as GM to choose wisely
