Two-Way Radios I'm looking to buy two-way radios (FRS/GMRS) and was wondering what others have. Any feedback about performance (reception, battery life, etc.) are appreciated. Thanks! |
the usual ones are motorola and cobra. i use motorola. bought in 2003 battery life is meh, and reception is hit or miss. they say 2.4km range or something but never really tested it. |
Motorola FRS for best reception/range. I have no experience with GMRS beyond what we used in Cadets (and it was Motorola too!) except it was much better than the FRS radios. |
Cobra fucking blowsss, we use them on site, we've gone through 2 different sets on a job site that is maximum 1000 feet away and they are very hit or miss |
