what amp wire to use?

Hi i have a JL 10WOv2 sub and a MB Quart FX2.60 amp. Is 8 gauge enough?

For speaker wire or remote turn on?

Just googled up the amps' specs:
60w RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms
120w RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms
240w RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged.

Yes, 8 gauge is sufficient. Remember to use a fuse close to the battery.

Isnt remote the thin blue one? Its thin. Do i use speaker wire goin from am to sub aswell? Pretty big hole for speaker wire

Remote wire is the thin blue one, usually 18 gauge.

Amp to sub; depending on how long the wire will be, 12-16 gauge speaker wires are fine.

Thats pushing it. I would say 10 ga for 300 watts and 8 ga for 500 watts with a typical 15-20 foot run.

I wouldnt do it.
