the 521 BBS LM reps look really fucking good. Only thing I don't like is the universal lug holes http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6078/...9f75984b3a.jpg |

I would definitely be ordering the 531's.. not sure if 16" or 15"... :concentrate: |
the xxr 527 look pretty sick. I'm highly considering them for my IS. Mmm 18x8.75 +35 Too bad no group buys :( http://ebisurd.com/gallery/simplevie...5_800x600_.jpg http://ebisurd.com/gallery/simplevie...8_800x600_.jpg http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSC_1590.jpg Sexy as hell on a sportcross. photo is shopped though. http://www.fanboystatus.com/wp-conte...iah_car_02.jpg |
Here's a good example of a Cheap wheels ruining a perfectly good car. He bought this car, looking like this. http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n...0sx/shoot4.jpg And managed to fuck it up, by throwing on shit wheels. http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...1-19123744.jpg http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/p...DSC_0287-1.jpg His excuse? I think for every example of cars "ruined" by cheap wheels you can find just as many (if not more) of cars that look good with cheap wheels. Not arguing that a set of volks/works wouldn't look better though just trying to be fair. |
You CAN find decent used wheels for the price of a new set of XXR's, but if they aren't beat to shit, the width/offset/style is not going to be great. The occasional diamond in the rough does come up. Guy with the comment is a stupid prick and is probably covering up for the fact he can't park without curbing his wheels. |
i bought my watanabe rs for $200 a set. crappy fitment, 14x6 20+ offset. a 15x9, 15x7.5 set with -39 and 0 offset would run almost $2000 used! and would need refinishing Posted via RS Mobile |
i have a friend selling a set of volk av3's for $250 :lol |
i had a set of 513 my old car.. and i put stickers on the center caps too i like the way they looked but i also did not like the multi hole look. would nice is they just came in one bolt pattern http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...f/DSC_2485.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...f/IMG_1189.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...f/IMG_1202.jpg |
Araaadi, what car do you drive? Im assuming its an 8thGen civic.. I had 962s before and they could look amazing depending on car and style. Just make sure you get the right wheel/tire size. Generally speaking certain wheels will look better on specific cars so Research and do Comparisons on for any wheel/mod. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...to_89/RSX2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...9/DSC_3327.jpg Also look into the XXR 526 in 18x9 :) http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...sek9/rear2.jpg As for that 240 man thats just a bad combo.. |
Yepp 8th gen civic coupe in taffetta white. Im pretty dead set on the 527's. Im leaning towards chromium black in 17 x 8.25 + 35, with 17 x 8.25 + 25 on the rear. Or maybe just +25 or + 35 all around, I am gladly open to suggestions and comments because I am very new at this. |
