anyone bother going to NYE tonight at Boss? :troll: their gay-ass promoters are hyping it up as of now on facebook saying tickets are running low :fuckthatshit: |
So apparently Boss is closing down after tonight, from what I heard, yesterday the whole club was filled with LB and LGs cause all the promoters told their frends to come. Funny thing was, some ppl couldn't even get in and this was my face after hearing this: :fuckthatshit: Envy is moving its gay-ass parties to pop-opera starting next week so ppl who dunt want to be a high-skool dance, avoid it at all cost ! I don't have a problem with the club but i just don't like the ppl who run it. Its really a shame to the vancouver nightlife (17-20 year olds being club promoters acting all boss, really?) |
It's pretty disappointing I suppose when kids in high school are doin it yeah. When I was in high school I didn't have the desire to work at a club :s Posted via RS Mobile |

1320 Richards has always been a shit hole. Back in the day when I started going there, it was called Mars, and always had E.I gangsters getting into fights with several stabbings/shootings (circa 1996). Then around the time I went to UBC, it was sold and turned into Wett Bar, where I promoted some parties, and once a huge fight broke out at the door, and idiot Asian gangsters fired shots at the door after being disallowed entry. Then it became Atlantis when I left Vancouver, and my buddy got stabbed to death outside. I'm not surprised it still attracts the same shitty environment. Frankly I think the music being played factors in quite a great deal -- you have idiots with no career/life aspirations who act hard or deal because that's all they know, and then you play the thug music and add alcohol. Result isn't a big surprise. |

Really? I thought promoters have to hand in their tickets 1-2 days before the event that's why tickets at the door are 5-10$ more (so they can make more money obviously) . If every promoter did that I don't really think there's a point of promoting when everyone can just buy tickets at the door. The higher ups can sell tickets at the door for a even lower price because they don't have to pay promoters if that's the case. but they probably fronted their own money just for a bit more profit... I've seen people who sell early birds at the door just for profit Posted via RS Mobile |
haha Boss nightclub is officially closed as off now !!! Those ass hurt promoters are already setting up a "Grand Opening" at Pop Opera this friday :fuckthatshit: |
