Majority of cases, the person making the left will be at fault.

whoevers turning left is at fault, happened to me twice, both times my fault. unless he can prove u ran a red light, then ur at fault.

update 1: icbc called and told me the car is a write off, which i am happy about because if repaired the car wont be the same. Now i am hoping they give me a fair deal.

So now im looking at other cars, i may get either the 128i or 328i, i know hte 35i engine has fuel pump problems, are there any common problems wiht these NA enignes.

How is the reliability of these cars?

Also does anyone work or know anyone that works at brian jessel and maybe can get a deal? just thought i would throw it out there. thanks in advnace guys.

Liability decision was in my favor, 100% the other drivers fault.

now still gotta wait for my car estimate.

I was in a similar situation like you recently expect mine was a full-on green for me going straight. I honked and the SOB did not even try to stop and finished his turn anyways. Glad everything worked out for ya.

The 3.0 inline 6 is probably the most reliable engine you can find in the BMW line-up. It's too bad it'll be replaced by the 2.0TT engine
