Compustar issues
 

So here's the story:

- went away on vacation for a while and came back home to find the battery dead (no surprise there)

- jump started the car, let her run for ~15 minutes to build up charge

- remote won't communicate so I did the remote-pager learn procedure found here http://www.compustar.com/ownerscorne..._manualE_F.pdf

Seems like all is well, car locks/unlocks like it should. As soon as I leave the car, the RPS rings the remote non-stop (phone symbol appears). I look up some stuff online and find that the RPS sensor can go wonky in colder temperatures.

- I go back to do the learning procedure, this time I disable the shock sensor hoping that it would end this problem.

- I sit in the car, going through the motions of testing the functions, etc...

I leave the car, and it's happening again. The car won't stop paging me.
I can leave the car in valet mode, but that would only be a band-aid solution.

You can turn the pager off by remote control. Press the two center buttons until it chirps. Press button 3 until you get to the pager icon flashes. Press button one to cancel it, then exit by pressing the two center buttons again.
