Like a lot of others, I'm using the Crumpler 6MDH. I don't know if you'll be able to fit a body, 2 lens and a flash in the bag though. My 50D, 70-200f4 IS and 10-22 just barely fit in (with a tiny bit of room to spare). It would require some expert packing to fit a 580EXII in there too!

My other "travel" backpack is the Mountainsmith Borealis AT. I had bought it for my Asia trip I took last October. It's pretty big though - not sure if I want to keep that one or not. Probably going to look for something a little smaller. Some pretty good suggestions in this thread though.

I love the AA bags. They have nice padding inside and looks great!

If one of the lens is mounted on the body, then you can fit 2 lenses in the the 6MDH.
With my 6MDH, I can fit my D200 + 17-55 F2.8 in the middle. SB-910 on 1 side and my 80-200 F2.8 on the other side. There's still room to stick in my 50mm 1.8 AFD lens.

Ah, but the other retailers' regular prices are probably cheaper than the Crumpler store's sale pricing.

I personally use a Lowepro Topload Zoom AW left over from the EOS-1 Days (Yes. The Original EOS). The camera bag is big enough to fit any body with a f2.8 telephoto zoom in it (without the hood of course), there's space for memory cards in the main compartment, and the main compartment itself has two layers of padding (main, and additional velcro padding).

The front compartment has enough space to hold a 580EX II, or extra batteries and a lens hood. I personally wish the bag was slightly bigger vertical wise so you could fit both a flash and a lens hood at the same time. Another flaw is that the metal zippers tend to make clinky noises when moving.

In conclusion, it works, but there's room for improvement. However, considering that this design is over 20 years old, i'm sure the newer versions have rectified this issue.

Ohh that's actually pretty nice. That's what I've been missing out with my 5MDH. My Asus Prime would be awesome in there.

I use Lowepro Classified 160AW.

I fit a camera body, Canon 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 (mounted), 50mm f1.8, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8, Canon 430EX ii, those rocket air blower things, lightmeter, 2 cheapy transceivers for flash all in the main compartment. it's quite a tight fit when it's all said and done.

When I bring my 70-200 2.8L IS II (mounted), I can bring the camera body, 50mm f1.8 and one of the other two lenses, and sometimes the flash if I put it in neatly and strategically lol...

this bag is relatively compact. it's a messenger type bag with a extra strap included to prevent it from swinging around if necessary.

Crumpler 5 million dollar home.

i bought a Tamrac Expedition 6x back pack from a Manager's Special i saw a while back. its got the weatherproof zippers and good size too. it holds everything except my macro gear, which i keep separate. a pro style body, 2 long lenses, a few short ones,flash unit, and all the little stuff in all kinds of flaps and pockets.

What camera straps do you guys have?, I want to replace my thin uncomfortable strap.
I saw some padded neck strap with easy remove clip on both sides where you attach to the anchor/hook/loop/ of your SLR body.

Is that dangerous, in case of accidentally unlocking and your camera just falls to the ground? I am kinda afraid of that happening.

Any thoughts?

Black Rapid over here. Although I wouldn't mind getting a crumpler Canon one just for the heck of it.

^ Best strap I've ever used. Used it entirely in Hong Kong and my neck was never sore, unlike using the stock strap. It's got that soft neoprene neck saver thing that never gets sweaty and hot and it never cuts into your neck or shoulder.
