Compustar 2w901r-ss

I didn't drive my car all weekend and when i left for work i noticed me remote was dead. After charging it, its displaying zzz like its in valet mode and whenever i press anything it says hold and wont even let me arm or disarm my car. I tried searching and all i found was to hold button 4 for 2.5 seconds but I dont know which one button 4 is. Anyone have any ideas?

There should be a legend on the back of the remote.

Do you still have the owners manual?

If you still can't figure it out most audio/video install shops will reprogram the remote for free.

It doesnt say anything on the and it says nothing about Hold in the manual.

I just searched the remote manual page 6

1. Turn the vehicle’s key to the ignition “on” position, tap the Function button 3 times, and finally tap the Lock button. The parking lights
will flash once, the remote will read “VALET ON” and Z’s will show on the LCD above the vehicle’s hood to confirm valet mode. Repeat this
process to exit valet mode.
The parking lights will flash twice, remote read “VALET OFF” and Z’s will disappear confirming valet mode is disabled

problem solved, turns out it was on button lock and you just had to hold the function button longer than what i read in the manual
