Extended Thread Lug Nuts

i'm planning on adding 8-10mm wheel spacers and was wondering if anyone has tried using extended thread lug nuts? I was told I could use these instead of changing to longer studs.

You are limited by your studs mostly.. an open ended lug nut will allow the nut to 'not bottom out'.

This is pretty simple stuff man. Take your wheel off, measure your threads on the stud, and then figure out how much less you have. You will probably want longer studs.

ALSO, don't buy aluminum.

I'm talking about extended THREAD lug nuts not extended lug nuts. There is a difference. You probably have never heard of these. Thanks anyway.

I don't think the extended thread lug nut will cover the 10 mm spacer you put in. maybe 5 mm. you will need to measure the actual length to be sure. plus if you take wheels on/off often, the extended tread lug nuts is abit more difficult.

I will still go with a longer studs. stay away from the ichiba wheel spacer.
aluminum lug nuts are fine if you don't mis use it.
