Tiering is always a contentious issue esp in lower tiers when how well a team does is largely the result of a couple better players on the team. If those players are not there for a few games in a row, the team does poorly. When those players come back and the team has been dropped down, they are dominating.

It's not just that. I know of a couple teams who lost 2-3 games in a row, yet they got bumped up. How does that make sense?

I know in years past my teams' captains had a lot of input in tiering as well. You can email Panchuk and let him know how games are going. As much as it sucks getting blown out every game, its no fun winning games consistently by 8-10 goals either. But like I said earlier, everybody always has issues with tiering no matter PICH or VIHL and its impossible to satisfy everybody.

Some teams do email Panchuk. He either comes up with an excuse not to move you, or tell you that the tiers are finalized. Only the "special" teams get moved down upon request.
