Looking for a bodyshop for BMW

Hi guys,

I am looking for a well experienced bodyshop specialized in BMW vehicles.
I have a e60 545i and want my front bumper replaced with M-pack, which has been already purchased. All i need is painting and putting it on.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

I don't know.....I heard some pretty nasty shit from people who used their services.

OP,I would suggest you signup to the local Euro forums and ask them what shop they recommend.

Korva Collision in Vancouver. Hands down the best shop in GVRD. Took my 335i there and the job they did was immaculate and I'm a picky mofo. They only work on BMW, Benz, Maserati, Ferrari, etc. The only downside is the wait time before they get your car in.

Bavara or Korva are my choices. Bavara's way easier to get an appointment with though. And less picky about what cars they take.

Korva said my GTI wasn't classy enough. :(

+1 for Bavara. They did a good job on my car after my accident. Even went beyond and got a couple parts replaced that ICBC was originally humming and hawing about.

I have heard good things about this shop too, but I wouldn't say it is the best shop in GVRD. (maybe just biased opinion)

I would take your car to Fasttrack Autobody on Riverroad in Richmond.

All my work on my car has been done by them.

Look for Andrew

i'd recommend autocraft ... last time i went they were doing a designo m3 in the shop.

if you call the dealers at richmond automall almost every service departments know autocraft if you ask them.

had a couple friends go there and it turned out great.

Is auto craft the one next to the fire station on 6 + westminster?

+1

No.1 Collision in Richmond, dealt with them multiple times, craftsmanship is great. In fact, my car's in there right now even though it's not the BMW. :p (The BMW had been there too...)

I might be confusing them with Burrard Autostrasse... it was one of the more "recommended" shops that I called. They went "Oh you have VW? We can recommend another bodyshop." :heckno:

skylinergtr 01-11-2012 07:28 PM

false creek collision in burnaby.

although I have had a hard time dealing with the asshats at Richmond Autobody of North Vancouver, dispite their bad attitude, I felt that they did good work on my 5 series.

Did they actually say this?

It went something like "Oh, it's a VW? We can recommend another body shop to you to take your car to."

It was the receptionist who said it.

false creek collision
ask for tim

similar situation as you. bought bumpers for my 5er and just had them paint it. this is a few months back. removal and install was done by myself. my front bumper was oem new but my rear was oem used with shitty paint with some hidden damage that i didn't know about. front bumper came out awesome but the rear had some issues due to the old paint and some hidden cracks. they stripped it twice, fixed the damage and painted it a total of 3 times to make sure it was perfect and stuck with the original quote. price was more than fair. customer service was great.

as for no1 in richmond, i would stay away. this is a few years back but they totally fucked up a simple front fender dent repair for my e30 m3 and somehow managed to fuck my my headlights, forgot to install half the screws for the grills and left my front bumper hanging loose on delivery. They also did not replace a bumper bracket and a marker light that icbc told them to replace until i question them about the estimate. they left blotchy marks on the inner seems of the fender and there was over spray everywhere.
