Got a set of OEM 15" wheels with the best winter tires I've ever owned on them--Blizzak WS60. They're unstoppable...but you'll be able to stop with them no problem. They've got a good 3 seasons left on them.

Ran them on my E36 325i, they will fit 3 series (not M3) from 1992-2006, and also other models.

One of the wheels has some gouging but has held air fine and causes no vibrations or anything.
