There are JNCers (Japanese Nostalgic Car Index page) out there who would buy these types of cars. RS is not the right demographic for this generation of Corolla; the early 80's would probably be the earliest gen that RSers would be interested in.

And it's never going to go to a scrap yard, not when its in that kind of condition and with that asking price.

I'd feel like I'd be bastardizing it doing a 4ag swap into it. Hell, I feel bad enough doing a 2tg/T50 swap into my (very original and great shape) '71 but there's no way in hell I'm going to be happy driving it w/ the 1200 and Toyoglide. I guess I'm okay with it since it's period correct.

Yup your right to each there own but a swap doesnt have to be irreversible or butchered
