I remember Serena Williams yelling at a ref and in the interview after giving more attitude. I just smh. Another memorable one was hingus throwing a spoiled little girl type tantrum agianst graff. I don't know much about Tennis, but when one destroys a racquet, that's generally something frowned upon by the audience??
Like in hockey, it's not that big of a deal when you see hockey players smash a stick.
But I assume Tennis is more "classy" ?
It's generally not frowned upon by the audience. However, they will get a warning from the umpire for racquet abuse. If they do it one more time, it will be a point penalty.
