Like when I lived at home I would generally into someone to my parents in the first couple of months. Now that I don't, well I've been with someone for 8 months and he hasn't met my parents (or my kid even for that matter).

8 months!? And still not meeting the kid? Why so long I'm a single pop of a 15 year old girl. I introduce my daughter to any girl I think seriously of. Flings not. In the event they dont jive the girlfriend is gone. I woudnt want to be 8 months a year or more into a relationship just to introduce them and have problems and waste all that time not to mention the pressure it would put on the kid to like the new person just cus I've been with them for so long.
