Anyone familiar with "Hertz" speakers?

I've been out of the car audio game a long time, never heard of these guys, but they seem to be fairly well rated. Friend of mine is looking to pick up a set of second-hand DSK-165s, I think the woman told her she wanted $160 (claims to have paid over $220 for them new). The only prices I could find online were from British sellers, wanting between 75 and 90 pounds, so I said $160 wasn't a SCREAMING deal, but if they're BNIB it's not a terrible deal either...

Any thoughts from the more recent pros? Any idea if this will go painlessly into the doors of an '06 Civic sedan?

Hertz is great stuff.... Made by Audison. Italian company. Sold it for years.

BUT only thing I would avoid is the DIECI line.... which is what you're looking at. They're very tinny sounding. Retail would be in the 180-200 range + taxes. We have a set of Morel components we can sell you for $180 that would sound much better.

I would suggest at least the Energy series or higher if you plan on sticking with Hertz

The doors will be a bit of an issue with any speaker. They need a bit of cutting or an adapter if you're using shallow mount or 5.25" drivers.

If you want a "SCREAMING DEAL", we have Pioneer TS-D1320C's bnib for $80.00

Thanks a lot, guys! I'll talk to my friend and see what she wants to do... she was also talking about replacing the stock deck with something she could plug her iPod into, so she may be shopping for that soon too.
