Alarm wiring help please
 

'92 Civic w/ oem pdl, Prestige alarm.

So the idiot that installed this thing, ages ago, decided it would be a good idea to run the pdl trigger(?) wire from the brain right to the pdl sw. at the driver's door. Since it works, I don't have an issue. I can even live with the fact that it's just taped together.

The problem is that, instead of fishing the wire through the weather boot and into the door, he pulled the boot off and ran the wire between the door panel and the door. Is there a wire I can tap into under the dash or do I have to just run the wire properly, inside the boot, and reattach it to the same place?

I would like to seal that boot back up and not worry about water getting in by the fusebox.

green/white and green/red I think
