i find the thing with her VS soldiers etc. kinda stupid, just like that famous violinist who no one noticed in the subway

there's hundreds of thousands of soldiers, there might be an odd one that comes up and has their heroic tale told, but for the most part their actions go unnoticed even though they may do somthing with more valour than houston has done in her entire life in a few minutes of their actions

People cling to celebrities even though she probably never did nothing for nobody who ever idolized her, sad culture we live in

Plus, she was kind of a bitch.

well when the wars are meaningless money grabs / based on lies there really isn't nothing heroic about them dying... especially when you get stories like soldiers hunting and slaughtering civilians for kicks and then pissing on their corpses; it really tarnishes anything heroic that you can find and its not like people dont mourn and celebrate these soldiers regardless...

at least with say Whitney people relate her music with moments in their lives even if they dont know her personally or even if she's a bitch irl that doesn't matter its simply the music + the moments in their lives

hell i bet there are soldiers mourning Whitneys passing too as her songs have brought them and their families happiness likely even during their time @ war

In comedy...theres that term people say, 'too soon.'

Sucked when Michael Jackson died.
Sucked when Heavy D died.
Whatever.

I do comedy every now and then at the clubs...my rule of thumb is...if that person has been on deathwatch on more than 5 occasions, there's no such thing as "too soon."

Nobody deserves to die. If people does stupid shit...they deserve to be made fun of. But if they have complete disregard for their own life...personally, i think they should be insulted...dead or alive.

Its like saying that the street racer who killed himself and his passenger was a 'good person.'

Whitney Houston died of accidental drowning due to the effects of cocaine use and heart disease, according to the L.A. County coroner

Harvey said toxicology tests also turned up marijuana, an anti-anxiety medication, a muscle relaxant and anti-histamine in Houston's system but found that they did not contribute to her death.

yeah normal thing to do on the weekends. Take a hand full of downers and take a nice warm bubble bath. If I sleep and drown blame it on my depression. Makes Sense!

RayBot 03-25-2012 04:38 PM

Whitney Houston's number 1 hit was the bathtub.

Her number 2 hit was the 4 grams that got her there.....
