Atlas 24 hour animal hospital WTF
 

I m not sure if the front desk is frickin high on crack or w.e. the fuck it was.
I called in earlier today to get my dog spayed.

so I called them just now and asked if I could take her in yet, he says "sure come at 8:30 uhhh.. I dont know" *hindu accent*
then he said a bunch of other shit I seriously could not understand.

so.. i asked if he even works there he said "yeah"

I then asked to speak with the doctor. he says "doctor busy in emergency room"

Ok.. so I asked again.. so what Time could I drop her off later, he said " uhhh.. no idea man.."

WTF

You should cancel your appointment. I got my dog neutered there and it was a bad experience. Like I've said before... Only go to atlas for shots, nothing else!

So I gave them a call about an hour later.

the convo went like this :

me " hi, could I speak to a doctor"

same front desk hindu guy said " you want to speak to a doctor? okay hold on "

So he puts me on hold and then a guy picks up and I told the doctor that I had no idea wtf the front desk was saying and the doctors response was "Mmm" in a way he sorta agrees !

anyways, I then asked the doctor when I could bring my dog in, and hes like "at 8:30, because the doctors are busy"

WHAT.THE.FUCK. " Arent you the Doctor" I asked

"Oh, no the doctors are busy"

Are you Fucking kidding me, what kinda BS vet are these fucking idiots running.

I told them to get their shit together and hung up, fucking morons.





BTW, how much is it to spay a dog normally? and any recommended vet to do it?

my usual vet place which is metrotown animal hospital is charging 150, but they cant do it till friday, and my Male dog is trying to get on my female dog again. and no way i want a litter of pups.

Does spca burnaby branch do it as well?

I don't think so. They only have a clinic/hospital at the Vancouver location.

No weekend. If you choose to go there, don't bother calling, just go straight there, their staffs are busy most of the time. Bring your dog, too. Probably have to make an appointment for later but it's an easy process.

I just had my 7 month old Rotty spayed on Friday at Eagle Ridge Animal Hospital, just West of Coquitlam Centre.

Dropped her off at 8am, got a call at noon telling me everything went well and I could pick her up any time between 4:30 and 7pm. When I picked her up they went through what they did with her, including a tattoo and free nail clipping and what to expect from her for the next few days while she heals.

Total cost, including tax, was $235.

As usual, a good experience with them.

Go to Oak Animal Hospital, been there a lot with cats and rabbits and there staff is always very welcoming. Ive never had a bad expierence there. They are across from the subway just before king ed
