Place to purchase used computer Looking for wholesale, i've looked ERA (electronic recycling association) and Freek Geek. Any other resource ? |
DFS Direct (Dell Financial Services) sell off-lease computers with short warranties... might be worth looking at. http://dfsdirect.ca/ |
Mike's Computers in Abbotsford has used/off-lease stuff from time to time. |
open box sells demo units, so they're just barely used. Futureshop and Bestbuy both have refurbished units in their online stores. |

Auction places? they sometimes have office supplies... |

Gotta be careful about auctions - people overpay for computers all the time because they don't have the first fucking clue about computer tech, and because the constantly advancing technology means "value" of even a six-month-old machine is greatly diminished. They assume they're always getting a deal, because it's an auction, and can very quickly bid computers up over their actual value. |
