Incompatible Sim card
 
hey guys,

im with telus, and recently got a new sim card (lost my phone :okay:)
and for some reason, when i put it into my backup (unlocked) phones it just says no service. ive tried it with many different unlocked phones and its the same story.

i took the sim card to telus asking them to test it for me, and it works with telus phones!

is this a new thing where telus sim cards are only compatible with telus phones? the telus staff told me this is the case.

Yeah. Chances are the phones you've been trying don't support the 850 band
