Some say the free Grand Slam breaky was due to the Superbowl win by a certain team. I've also heard it is about Shrove Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday preceeds Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of Lent - a Christian thing. Shrove Tuesday is also known as Pancake day. Anyway..........

Abbotsford finally has a Denny's - built not quite two years ago. Last year, no free breakfast. I wAnder how busy that location will be tomorrow for its first Grand Slam deal event.

Got off work at 7am... and decided to head to the Dennys on Marine drive.. parked at the back, walk to to front and saw the line was already out the door and

Got there at 6:55 and they had a big table only, so they asked if we wanted to share the table or wait. Never shared tables at a non chinese restaurant before, but I didn't care

When you do go, please remember to tip according to the regular price of the item. It's the subtle difference between being frugal and a freaking cheap-ass.
This goes for free stuff and discount of any value. I'm sure most of you know this already, but just in case............

Total for three people was 16.XX, paid 22.00 in total... waited about 30 mins, got there at 7:15ish, took a long while for the food to come, table beside us came after and got their food first but for .99 can't complain
mine wasn't that greasy surprisingly
