best bang for the buck brake pads? (350z non-brembo)

anyone know which brake pads are the best bang for the buck?

the OEM ones are creating too much brake dust and it's starting to become bald - feels like car is hopping when I brake hard down hill

i heard good things about hawk pads and also horrible things about them

akebono ceramics, virtually no brake dust, and they have noticeably more bite than oem ....

I had hawk hps, did not like them, took them off after 3 months... they were noticeably slower to grip than the oem was, it was a downgrade in safety in my opinion

i heard about akenobos as well, but i thought they were for bbk?

Where can you get akebono ceramic break pads?
does anyone have any experience with stop tech break pads?

Before i sold the car i installed R1 drilled/slotted rotors and posiquiet ceramic brake pads, they worked perfectly for the price. (I believe it was $320 shipped for everything.)

if i put the posiquiet ceramic brake pads on oem rotors would that be bad?

nope, unless your rotors are worn out / warped. but if that's the case, any pads would not work properly.

akebono and pbr are oem suppliers so they have pads for virtually all oem brakes in either ceramic or semi metalic. both are also good. much better then what lordco carries. I can supply either

I have them and yes they do give off quite a bit of brake dust.
Still better than oem imo and apparently still better than many of its aftermarket competitors.

I think its a good bang for buck pad and very popular with the 350z guys on the forum.
