Looks like you're losing the finish. Can you feel a bit of an edge?

Someone like NuBrite, Greens or Panther can probably do it fairly reasonably. Just make sure you tell whoever resprays it, you want the barrel to be as smooth as the face. Some shops will repair and respray the face only and the resulting overspray in the barrel leaves a rough finish that is almost impossible to clean brake dust from.

			I've heard these guys are pretty good, and they're mobile. I myself haven't used them, but apparently they're pretty popular with dealerships.Western Wheelcraft | | | | | 02-25-2012, 02:21 PM | #11 | | MOD

Nice. I left my rims on during winter because I got them curb rashed and was going to get them fixed anyways, so this thread is just what I needed . Guess the salt or whatever was taking off the finish in my wheels, and now I have like spots in the dish, haha.

Be sure to keep in communication with Western Wheelcraft. When I used them, they weren't so great in telling me what's going on. From saying that they would have the wheel done and drop it off to me by the evening, to me having to drive out and meeting the guy to get my wheel.

Sureblast quoted me $300-$400 to blast and PC my 18" mesh wheels. Make sure you factor in the cost of M&B though cause it'll add up.Sure Blast Ltd. Sandblasting - Do-it-yourself, Automotive, Industrial, Commercial, Marine, Household and Burn off Oven
