Need Help With Compustar Alarm
 

ive got the 2w8000fmr (3000) alarm system and cant get the alarm to arm.
my battery went dead over winter storage and since then i can only lock and unlock the doors. the alarm does not come on. i can put it in valet mode and with in a few seconds it automatically comes out of valet mode.
any ideas?

Are you sure its coming out of valet mode? The symptoms you explain seem like the unit is not coming out of valet mode properly. A compustar will only lock and unlock the doors while in valet mode, which is what it sounds like you are saying the alarm is doing. The unit maybe static locked or something to that effect, in which case it will have to be unplugged for a short bit to discharge properly.
