Anyone heard of this movie? Some indonesian movies brought over to america, might be a remake in Hollywood. Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park re did the score. Apparently some say it's one of the best action movies in a long time.

But I'm excited to watch this movie it has got a lot of hype so far.

Any news on when we can see this in Vancouver? March 23 (tomorrow) is it's limited release date, but it's only showing in Toronto for Canada.

This Sony Pictures website shows that it will open in Seattle on March 30, and Bellingham on April 13.

They are having a few promo screenings within the next few weeks in Vancouver. The release date for Vancouver is April 6th

Lol thinking the same thing. I recall a thread about this movie in the entertainment forum and the off-topic forum.

Just got back from this movie. Go watch it. LOTS of action. A few of my friends actually thought that the fight scenes were too long, but I disagree.

I thought some were too long too.

The beginning part with firearms action was fucking awesome. The fight scenes were good but got a little tedious after a bit. If they mixed in more gunfire scenes it woulda been perfect.

This movie is pretty fucking terrible.

It gets long in the tooth very, very quick. However, the direct knew when to end it because if it lasted any longer, most people would probably have walked out.

Everyone over-hyped this movie. I tried to be brain dead while watching it and even then it was impossible to stomach at times.

Watched it last night. 7/10. Lots of action. That short guy dished out some good ass kickings :lol

I agree that the whole movie felt dragged on for too long. However the action scenes are plenty and very epic. I felt adrenaline throughout the whole movie. Still a good watch.
