Last time I was in uncle Willy’s was the hellaaaa old one in Guildford in the same complex as Wendy’s on 152nd. Across from the old “oriental buffet”

Anyone remember the AYCE sushi place that used to be at corner of Cooney/Lansdowne rd? Tokyo something something. It's long gone now, but it was sort of my gateway sushi restaurant experience here in Richmond.

Being a white boy in Calgary, all I ever ate at Japanese restaurants there were teriyaki dishes. This place was where I was finally willing to try California roll and salmon sashimi for the first time lol. Granted, I was still a kid at the time.

Average value of vehicle (market value) - $80K
Average household income - $500,000 ($250K is welfare status now +look at my signature you jackasses)
Average meal (Dinner) - $750

Factoring all that, and wanting to meet for a cheap buffet - not sure if gloating/flexing or mentally ill

Oh I remember being FOB my uncle would take us to “unco Wally” every weekend. Endless roast beef, honey glazed ham, soft serve ice cream and jello. Oh and don’t forget about the 2nd hand smoke at the very end.

Good god no, skip Uncle Willy's. We went a year ago with the wife's friend's when had the same idea for a nostalgic cheap buffet with all our kids.

It was gross. Everyone agreed it sounded good on paper but yeah, never again.
