SSD question Got a new Intel 520 120GB SSD and do a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits edition onto this SSD. I did make sure the bios was set to achi mode and also made a change to registry to enable achi. The PC is running windows 7 Ultimate 64bits with 8GB of RAM. My hardware specs are as follows :$ Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H$ 8GB corsair vengeance ram$ AMD Phenom II X 4 4.02 Ghz$ 875 PSU 80+ Gold$ Nvidia GTS 450 Video card$ Intel 520 series 120GB SSD$ Using AMD latest ahci driver but when I do the AS SSD benchmark, the scrore and results are not good at all. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...29-59-03PM.png May I know how to fix this problem ? |
have you done alignment yet? also search ssd tweak on google like turn on restore point, defragment, virtual memory, file index etc |
Ssd tweaks won't do anything for the speed. Alignment might. |
