hey guys,
i bought a set of xxr 527 in gold. The guy that dismounted the tires chipped parts of the paint.. xxr sucks at clear coats, the paint around the chips are peeling off. the chip is about 2cm wide.
Any recommendations on how to prevent it from peeling off even more? or somehow touch up the paint ??

thanks!!!

pictures dont work.

most likely you'll have to get them repainted

Have you brought this is up with the person that damaged the wheel yet?...That WOULD be step 1...

You realize replacing an XXR wheel is probably less costly than a professional repaint, right

i would say just sand down the rough paint and spray your wheels with duplicolor wheel paint ... of course having the bill be paid by the shop that dismounted

would powercoating help? its cheaper than painting and last longer a lot of times
