So I'm importing a MK4 Supra...

I've done most of my research and homework on everything, but there's just one thing left in the back of my head I have no answer for:

Is it a necessity that you have a broker do everything for you, or is it safe to do the paperwork on your own?

Define safe.. it is just the Canadian bureaucracy you have to deal with... as long as you cross all the ts and dot the is it should be fine.

Tons of people import vehicles but themselves.

Safe as in it's all doable. I don't wanna end up having it land here after paying and going to all the effort to have all the transfer papers complete, just to find out I won't be able to own it, because something wasn't cleared.

I am curious as to how much you can get one here landed, as you can find them here probably marked up like crazy by the importer..

Excelsis 03-14-2012 03:46 PM

ask 1exotic, he knows quite a lot about supras, he imported 3

1exotic 03-14-2012 06:34 PM

Actually a lot more that^

OP I PM'd you a broker you can use.
I am assuming you are talking about one from Japan.

If it's from the States the process is different.
