Looking for a cheap wheel painter

My wheels seem to have lost the layer of clear coat and keep oxidizing. Getting tired of SOSing them every month, so I'm looking for some place or someone to paint them decently on the cheap.

Suck at painting myself, and I don't just want to spray bomb them.

Thanks

check in the other section, i think i seen threads on it

and besides, if you can sand a wheel decently, then that's 90% of the heavy lifting done on a DIY wheel spray job, I've done a few myself..

the other 10% is patience and doing many light coats as opposed to a noob way of a few thick coats

Powder coating is probably the most durable way to paint your wheels. Might not be the cheapest. Otherwise the amound of work to paint wheels is high. More work than painting a bumper.

You need to clean the wheels with degreaser if there's brake dust built up, mask whatever your not painting (emblems, chrome/polished parts), sand blast, clean again, then paint a few layers, then clear coat, etc.

I had a buddy that needed to paint ONE wheel, and he had to do most of the masking and cleaning himself and still paid about $200ish.

The wheels aren't even worth much, I just want them to look halfway decent and stop the monthly oxidation build up. Not looking for showroom quality by any means.

Have you considered plastidip? Really easy to apply and it protects your wheels too. My winter wheels are plastidipped black.
