ANDROID: Dropbox Mod with additional 23GBs

I just did this hax this morning and it worked. Gave me an extra 23GBs to my Dropbox account. Been reading online that it's hit or miss but at least give it a shot.

Dropbox v2.0.1 MOD + 23GB of space Free Download

Quote:

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere. After you install Dropbox on your computer, any file you save to your Dropbox will automatically save to all your computers, your Android device, and even the Dropbox website! With the Dropbox app, you can take everything that matters to you on the go.

Read your docs or flip through your albums when you’re out and about. Save photos or videos to your Dropbox and share them with friends in just a couple taps. Even if you accidentally leave your Android in a taxi, your stuff is always safe on Dropbox.

Features:
• Always have your stuff with you, no matter where you are.
• Save photos and videos to your Dropbox.
• Share your photos and docs with family and friends.
• Save email attachments straight to your Dropbox.
• Easily edit docs in your Dropbox.

From the author: This time, we work around the 23GB of extra space for 2 years, that originally applies to Sense 4.0 phones

How-to

• Uninstall original dropbox app
• Install my APK
• Login & wait for the confirmation mail!
• After getting the extra space, you can go back to official dropbox builds (uninstall mine first).

it's only for 2 years... and it seems like a complete hack of an app, so I'm going to stay away

This sounds like something they would say on Shark Tank.
"It seems like a complete hack of an app, and for that reason I'm out"

Since I received 50GB on Box, I decided to give it a go. It sucks for ease of use. Transferring files on the PC required use of their webform, or a shitty java bulk uploader. The mindless method of keeping a folder sync'd is not available on Box until you upgrade to one of their paid plans. In conclusion, Box can take their 50GB, and shove it. Dropbox FTW.
