Mike Stone, 18, of Oakdale, Minn., sent hundreds of tweets this week to adult film stars asking them to accompany him to the May 12 dance at Tartan High School. Two actresses, Emy Reyes and Megan Piper, soon responded, with Reyes saying, "I would love tooo" [sic] and Piper agreeing to attend if Stone covered her travel costs from Los Angeles.
But Stone's dream date won't happen, according to school district officials.
Patty Phillips, superintendent of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District, told FoxNews.com in an email that Piper, 19, would be prohibited from attending the dance because her appearance would be "inconsistent" with two district policies pertaining to visitors to school buildings and sites.
The policy states that any individual or group can be denied entry to those events if the visit is "not in the best interest" of the district, district spokeswoman Jennifer McNeil told FoxNews.com.
Stone, who could not be reached for comment Wednesday, had sought to raise $400 for Piper's ticket. Messages seeking comment from Piper and Reyes were not returned.
Stone's foiled effort is the latest in a string of bold proposals to celebrities for formal occasions.
Actress Mila Kunis attended the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C., after Sgt. Scott Moore asked her to be his date via a YouTube video in November. That same month, Kunis' "Friends With Benefits" co-star Justin Timberlake attended the Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Richmond, Va., with Cpl. Kelsey De Santis.
Singer Taylor Swift was asked via Facebook to be the prom date of New Jersey high school student Kevin McGuire. Swift said she could not make it but instead asked the cancer battler to be her date to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on April 1.

At Least 2 Adult Film Stars Have Accepted Mike Stone's Offer
A Minnesota teen has asked hundreds of porn stars to prom via Twitter, and at least two have accepted.
Fed up with being rejected by his female classmates, 18-year-old Tartan High School senior Mike Stone sent more than 600 tweets to various porn stars asking them to be his date to the dance May 12, the Daily Dot reported.
"I was just thinking of doing something new. I was like, let's try it out and see if it works," Stone told the Daily Dot. "I just think they're really cute and I wish I had one for a prom date."
Adult film star Megan Piper, who never made it to her senior prom, said she'd be willing to attend the dance as long as Stone took care of her travel costs from Los Angeles.
"I thought it was really cute, and I thought it would make his night by saying 'yes,'" she told The Huffington Post.
According to Twitter, porn star Emy Reyes has also agreed to attend.
Stone is now trying to raise money through Twitter to get his potential dates to Minnesota.
Since news of Stone's prom proposal hit the Internet, the teen has amassed more than 800 new Twitter followers, the International Business Times reported.

Hahaha. All the other chicks at the prom would have become total bitches if two porn stars showed up. Staring them down, judging them on how they dress. They probably would want to scrap with them, then buy their exact outfit the next day.

school system sucks! no right to dictate who can and who cant go to the prom (unless in direct violation of their code of conduct), dress code is the maximum control they could have a hand in.

"If you can get me there, then yes," she responded to Stone.
When she heard she wouldn't be allowed into the prom, Piper started a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #Porn4Prom.
"Why shouldn't I be allowed to go again? How would me going not be in the school's best interest?" she asked.
On Thursday, Stone said he knows Piper can't attend the prom because "the school won't let her in the dance."
But he also added he's "already making a Plan B" for the big night.
