LF someone to 3m cf vinyl wrap my hood

Hi everyone,

This may be a long shot but does anyone know a local place to do 3m cf vinyls?

Looking to get part of my hood vinyled for this look:

so pretty much the middle part of the hood, from one end to another. Looks to be quite simple, but I've never fiddled with 3m vinyls so I'll leave it up to someone with more experience.

suggestions to where to get it done?

Lol jk anyway I think you should buy a CF one and just paint the sides if you're really into that look. Sure looks better than some carbon faux-ber

oh come on don't mock me :(
i'll be honest and say i'm short on funds, so ya

It's your car, so you can do what you want with it. But the general consensus from local enthusiasts is that cf wrapping a hood is pretty lame.

Its pretty easy to apply yourself though, but there are 100 people on craigslist who will do this for you if you really want.

Please don't.

Faking is never good.

save up till you can buy a real one. instead of looking cool, people just laugh at your car.

ahhh okay here's my dilemma. I do have a cf hood already painted. but it's all scratched up and got damaged while in storage.

It'll need a repaint and i don't think that chip would buff out lol.

^ Of course it will buff out.....its call paper mache :troll:

The chip is on the painted portion of the hood, so just rebuild the end with JB Weld and paint over it. Take your time and it would difficult to tell a repair had been made.

Let me know if you've found someone to do it, I might join and hopefully we could get group rate? Mine will be just for mirror caps :)

look up Courage Distributing in Richmond - i think it's www.courage.ca ? They are the direct 3m vinyl supplier in the industry. If they can't help you at least they could point you in the right direction.
